El Monte Sagrado

317 Kit Carson Road Taos, New Mexico 87571 USA

A meditation area surrounded by trees and waterfalls. Holistically designed eco-structures. An art collection featuring some of the world’s most famous names. Welcome to El Monte Sagrado Living Resort and Spa.

Located in the historic town of Taos, El Monte Sagrado is ideally situated for skiing the nearby mountains, golfing in championship courses, or experiencing the Native American culture of the Taos Pueblo. Unique to El Monte Sagrado is the Biolarium and The Living Machine, an eco-structure that incorporates recycled water, plants, and rock formation into a self-sustaining ecosystem that flows throughout the resort and creates an enclosed, lush sanctuary around the resort’s pool.

The décor of the hotel’s 84 guest rooms was inspired by Native American art and features works by local artists, hand painted walls and gas fireplaces. And the hotel’s Living Spa offers a perfect way to relax with treatments that incorporate organic ingredients, including flowers and plants.

  • The Living Spa specialized in treatments that use natural and organic products that incorporate all the elements, from plants and flowers to earth, water and air.
  • The hotel’s De La Tierra restaurant specializes in cuisine inspired by local traditions as well as global cuisine, each designed to be in perfect harmony with nature.
